Rev. Tyler Walworth

Pastor Walworth grew up in Missouri near the Kansas city area. He went to Lutheran schools from first grade to high school, then on to Concordia University Nebraska where he received his B.A. in communications. Shortly after graduation, he married his lovely wife, Kelsey. They moved together to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where Tyler attended Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne.

He had a short vicarage in Reese, Michigan, and also with Christ the King Lutheran Church of the Deaf. He received his call from Mill Neck: Lutheran Friends of the Deaf (LFD), who stationed him in Michigan as national missionary for LFD, missionary at large for the Michigan District, and pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church of the Deaf.  He moved to Michigan and has two beautiful boys. On December 20, 2020, he accepted the call to serve Emmanuel Lutheran church in Dearborn, and shortly after Our Savior Deaf again as a dual parish.
